RJ PatelOwner, PCT CleanRJ and his wife Asha have owned PCT Clean for over 16 years. Prior to that, RJ’s family owned a hotel and were responsible for the day-to-day business, including guest services, housekeeping, and grounds keeping. RJ is the first chair of the Residential Cleaning Council, tasked with leading the association through the first two years of its merger with ISSA. RJ continues to serve on the Residential Cleaning Council as the past chair.

Gosia BaranHelping HandsAfter working in the corporate world for a few years, I got laid off a few months after 9/11. Having a 4-month-old son, I chose not to go back to the corporate world but to open my own business. I had the desire of helping people; in the corporate world helping others was not the priority. In November 2001, Helping Hands was born. Today, Helping Hands is stronger than ever, employing 45 cleaning technicians and office staff. We service residential and commercial clients in the Chicagoland area.

Certified Forensic Operator®️, Certified Bio-Forensic Restoration Specialist®️, Associate Professor, Penn State College of MedicineDr. Gavin Macgregor-Skinner has more than 30 years of technical experience in responding to infectious disease outbreaks and emergency management. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences at Penn State College of Medicine and teaches three 15-week graduate courses on Public Health Preparedness for Disasters and Terrorist Emergencies. In 2014 he received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in teaching. He has appeared on CNN, Fox News, BBC, Canada CTV, Australia ABC, C-SPAN, and other news outlets to share his expertise on High Consequence Pathogens such as Coronavirus, Ebola, Influenza, Measles, Cholera, Zika and other global health threats. He served 12-years as an Officer in the Australian and British militaries and was an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer at the U.S. CDC in Atlanta, Georgia, and a Global Health Fellow with the United States Agency for International Development in Washington DC.

He is also Co-owner of Roza Contractors, a facility maintenance and contracting company. He is also Founder/CEO of Route, a technology software/app that is a solution for the commercial cleaning and field service industry. Route is an Ecosystem of tech enabled tools and a marketplace where cleaning business owners can build and grow their business as well as connect with their fellow cleaning community. Route consists of 3 products – RouteBid, RoutePulse and RouteMarketplace. Lastly, he is the founder of Cleaning & Cocktails a podcast and live events brand for the cleaning industry.
Ricardo started in the commercial cleaning industry 10 years ago and built the Rozalado brand 8 years ago with his wife, dad, aunt, cousin and family. He learned a ton performing all the cleaning himself. For the first four to five years of the business, he wore every hat and learned every department.
Fast forward to today, Ricardo has over 300 employees, 22 which are family, 5 companies, operates in 20+ states, offers over 20 services and has made the Inc 5000 fastest growing companies 4 years in a row – 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022. He recently just made the Chicago Crain’s 40 under 40 prestigious class of 2021 as well as the Negocios Now Latino 40 under 40. Route was also the proud recipient of Google’s 1st Latino Tech Founders cohort in 2022. This industry has changed his life. His mission is to create jobs and help the everyday blue collar, hard-working American earn a living and be happy doing it.
