Conference Service Project

In keeping with the Hygieia Network’s dedication to the empowerment of women in the cleaning industry, during each conference the ISSA Charities™ signature program supports a local organization whose mission aligns with our shared values.

This year, the Hygieia Network is honored to support
Halton Women’s Place, a beacon of safety and hope for women and children escaping domestic violence in the Halton region.

As part of this years’ service project, the ISSA Hygieia Network is collecting new pajamas to support women (and their children) who are coming into the shelter as well as those transitioning out of it. Specifically, Halton Women’s Place needs the following:

  • Women: Adult sizes XS, Large, XL, XXL and XXL
  • Babies: Sleepers sizes 3 months to 24 months
  • Youth (Pre-Teen & Teen Sizes): Youth XS (4/5), Youth L (12/14), Youth XL (16/18)

These cozy essentials provide comfort, dignity, and a fresh start as women and their children move forward on their journey. Your generosity will help ensure that every woman has something warm, soft and uplifting to call her own.

We invite you to join us in this meaningful effort. Whether you bring a pair a set of pajamas, or simply your support, you are making a difference in someone’s journey toward safety and empowerment. Attendees can also share words of encouragement by writing heartfelt postcards, which will be included with each set of pajamas.
