Virtual Train the Trainer (CPT) Workshop

The ISSA Cleaning Management Institute (CMI) Train the Trainer Workshop certifies cleaning professionals to become Certified Professional Trainers (CPTs), equipping them to implement high-quality training within their own organizations. This program is an ideal foundation for building or enhancing in-house training programs.

Course Overview

This four-day virtual course is built on the CMI Custodial Technician Basic and Advanced certification tracks. Each session is led by a CMI Master Trainer and features interactive learning through:

• Guided discussions
• Group exercises
• Real-world application of CPT modules

Participants will develop both technical and instructional skills, preparing them to confidently train their teams.

Course Objectives:

The curriculum covers:

• Detailed exploration of each CPT module
• Group activities designed to reinforce learning
• Adult learning principles and effective presentation techniques
• Best practices for building and delivering staff training programs

Final Exam & Certification

After the workshop, attendees will receive access to the online CPT final exam.

• Completion window: 60 days
• Passing score: 80% per module

Successful participants earn the Certified Professional Trainer (CPT) designation.
