This session will help you:
- Understand how measurement is a business opportunity by focusing on the health and safety impacts and invisible threats often overlooked Identify threats: Uncover common pollutants, allergens, and microbes that can persist on surfaces and in the air even after cleaning and restoration
- Learn about Measurement Tools & Techniques: Familiarise yourself with the tools and methodologies used to assess surface cleanliness and indoor air quality
- Analyse and Interpret Results: Gain insights on how to interpret the results from various cleanliness and air quality measurements, enabling you to understand if your work practices are effective or need adjustment
- Implement Best Industry Practices: Discover how knowledge of measurement and validation can help implement more effective practices and protocols.
- This program also will address the elements of a well-managed cleaning organisation, as defined by the Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS).

He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences at Penn State College of Medicine and teaches three 15-week graduate courses on Public Health Preparedness for Disasters and Terrorist Emergencies. In 2014 he received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in teaching. He has appeared on CNN, Fox News, BBC, Canada CTV, Australia ABC, C-SPAN, and other news outlets to share his expertise on High Consequence Pathogens such as Coronavirus, Ebola, Influenza, Measles, Cholera, Zika and other global health threats. He served 12-years as an Officer in the Australian and British militaries and was an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer at the U.S. CDC in Atlanta, Georgia, and a Global Health Fellow with the United States Agency for International Development in Washington DC.
