ISSA Certified Professional Trainer

This international certification allows candidates to train and certify their cleaning staff in accordance with international standards and CMI (the Cleaning Management Institute) programs (i.e. Custodial Technician, Basic & Advanced levels). CMI, the education division of ISSA, is the premier training standard in the cleaning industry that gives you the right credentials to achieve the recognition you deserve.

The course equips trainers with the essential skills and knowledge needed to conduct hands-on training for cleaning operatives at two different levels (basic and advanced).

You will learn:

• Benefits of implementing a professional training program across your operations
• Key concepts of teaching and its methods
• Soft skills required to train
• Core competencies for cleaning operatives
• How to effectively prepare and plan for a successful training session
• How to evaluate employees’ performance according to set standards
• How to identify areas that require additional training

After completing this program, you will be able to teach the following technical skills:

• СMI Basic Level
  • Daily maintenance tasks including the chemistry of cleaning, basic cleaning (above-floor surfaces, hard floor surfaces, carpeted floor surfaces, restrooms and shower rooms), and customer service.
• CMI Advanced Level
  • Advanced cleaning and disinfection (hard floor surfaces, carpeted surfaces, above-floor surfaces)

October 22 and 29, November 12 and 19
8:30 am – 1 pm CET

Duration of the Course:
16 hours spread across 4 days + e-learning self-paced training approximately 15 hours.

Type of the Course:
A mix between online classroom training and e-learning platform.

What to Expect:
In-depth discussions, group activities, networking, and homework assignments. The final assignment is to perform an actual training on a chosen subject and a computer-based exam on the CMI basic and advanced programs.
