The term “Cleaning for Health” is synonymous with Dr. Michael A. Berry’s book published in 1993. On the 30th anniversary of this iconic book, in this workshop we will discuss: What does it really mean? How important is it? How to define that the quality of the indoor environment (air, surfaces, water) is created through cleaning and proper maintenance? Why the cleaning industry needs to be recognized as “essential”? How do we set professional goals?

This workshop will help you:
  • Understand the importance of being able to tell a compelling cleaning for health story
  • Explore the impact of cleaning on human health and the built environment
  • By presenting scientific evidence and real-case studies supporting the cleaning for health concept
  • Identify your unique cleaning for health journey and understand your target audience and their needs
  • Explore the power of visual storytelling through images and videos
  • Practice delivering your story and receive peer feedback to refine your communication skills
  • Develop an actionable plan to implement and share your cleaning for health story effectively in real-world scenarios
  • Leave the workshop with inspiration, confidence, and the tools necessary to create positive change through your story
