This 2-hour session will cover the main principles of ISSA Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) Advanced by GBAC. CIMS is an international industry certification for service contractors and in-house cleaning organizations that want to validate their cleaning service through an independent third-party assessment. It implements quality-driven management that strive to maintain hygienic environments for the benefit of building occupants.

This workshop will outline what makes a cleaning provider successful and explain how the framework of CIMS can assist in implementing quality management and environmentally preferable procedures inside the company. It provides practical guidance for integrating best practices into cleaning services.
