    The CMI Hard Floor Care Certification Workshop, hosted at Sunbelt Rentals, is designed to provide an in-depth overview of hard floor care, current standards, and the latest efficient cleaning methods while addressing safety concerns and asset protection issues.

The half-day conference will focus on the theme of unlocking women’s leadership potential and cover issues affecting opportunities for advancement and more. The conference will bring together attendees who hold positions across all industry areas and levels. Attendees can expect to gain new connections and the necessary tools and strategies to apply to their professional lives.

The conference will feature presentations from three executive leaders: Kim Price, vice president of market sales, GP Pro, a division of Georgia-Pacific; Marcela Sztainberg, senior vice president of human resources, Essendant; and Tracey York, executive vice president of human resources health, hygiene and specialties, Berry Global. The program will start with a career development workshop from Dr. Tatum Thomas, dean of DePaul University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies.

POST-CONFERENCE NETWORKING EVENT | Chicago’s Leading Lady Cruise

Shuttle bus – 5:00pm – Immediately following the conference, shuttle buses will transport conference attendees from the Palmer House Hilton to Chicago’s Riverwalk and will return attendees to the Palmer House after the cruise.

5:45pm Boarding Chicago’s Leading Lady at Chicago’s Riverwalk at Michigan Avenue & Wacker Drive

6-8pm – Networking Cruise

  • Marcela Sztainberg
    Marcela Sztainberg
    Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Essendant

    Marcela Sztainberg is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Essendant. She is responsible for driving the diversity and talent strategy to attain and develop key talent and create strength across all functions of Essendant. She has led an impressive career as a human resources professional for over 20 years working in various industries. Prior to her current role at Essendant, Marcela was responsible for the company’s benefits and compensation strategies and worked as the Director of Human Resources, helping with transformation projects around benefits, associate engagement and talent acquisition. Before joining Essendant, she held positions in compensation and benefits at a variety of companies. Marcela also serves on the board of trustees for Family Service of Lake County and the Essendant Charitable Foundation.

  • Tracey York
    Tracey York
    Executive Vice President of Human Resources – HHS Division, Berry Global, Inc.

    Tracey York is the EVP of Human Resources for the HHS Division at Berry Global. In her ten years with Berry Global, Tracey has held multiple positions within the HR team. In her current role, she is supporting more than 7,000 HHS employees located throughout the globe in North and South America, Europe and Asia. Previously Tracey was Berry’s Chief Talent Officer, leading learning and development, succession planning and talent acquisition for Berry Global’s 47,000 employees around the world.

    Prior to joining Berry, Tracey served in multiple roles in Leadership Development, Talent Management and Human Resources for Belk Department Stores and Lowe’s Home Improvement. Tracey is certified in more than 30 best-in-class development courses including Situational Leadership II, Culture of Trust, Seven Habits of Highly Effective Leaders and Team Effectiveness. She is also a certified 360 assessor and executive coach.

    Tracey received her B.A. in History and Political Science from Campbell University and Master of Arts degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the Adler University.

  • Dr. Tatum Thomas
    Dr. Tatum Thomas
    School of Continuing & Professional Studies, DePaul University

    Dr. Tatum Thomas is the Dean of DePaul University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS). SCPS offers undergraduate adult, graduate, and nondegree programs. Notably, its centers, and special initiatives, such as the Center for the Advancement of Adults in Education, Labor Education Center, and the Adult Men of Color Initiative emphasize access and activism. Dr. Thomas is a member of the Board of Directors with the University Professional Education Association (UPCEA), where she serves on the Governance Committee, and Credential Innovation subcommittee for typology, terminology, and standards. She also serves as a Peer Evaluator with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, and she is on the DePaul University’s Planning Committee for the Institute for Restorative Educational Engagement, supporting advancements in college-in-prison programs. Dr. Thomas previously held strategic leadership roles at Columbia University in the City of New York, and New York University.

    Dr. Thomas’ research interests include employee performance, leadership paradoxes, and relational leadership. She holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, a Master’s in Higher Education Administration from Baruch College, City University of New York, a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Marymount Manhattan College, and a Certificate in Management Excellence from the Harvard Business School. Dr. Thomas is a member of Edward A. Bouchet Society.

  • Kim Price
    Kim Price
    Vice President, Market Sales, Georgia-Pacific

    Kim Price is Vice President of Away from Home Market Sales with Georgia-Pacific’s CPG Customer Organization. She assumed this responsibility in 2021. Kim joined Georgia-Pacific in 2005 in our Entry Level Sales Associate Program (JumpStart). Prior to GP, Kim graduated with a B.A. in business from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Throughout her career she has held various roles in pricing, field sales, channel sales, and sales strategy/enablement/ effectiveness.

    Kim has a passion for employee development and diversity and inclusion in the workplace. She has served as a Council Member for ISSA’s Hygieia Network since 2018 and currently serves as the Co-Chair. Hygieia’s mission is to advance women’s careers in the cleaning industry. In her spare time, she’s probably doing something active or spending time with friends and family. Kim and her two sons reside in Roswell, Georgia.

  • Stephenie Henderson
    Stephenie Henderson
    Vice President of Sales, Amcor

    Stephenie Henderson is Vice President of Sales at Amcor’s Flexibles Converter & Distribution business, where she leads a high-performing sales team focused on achieving strategic growth and delivering on corporate financial and volume goals. With over 15 years of experience in the flexible film industry, Stephenie has held key sales and leadership roles at Pliant and Berry Global, where she managed strategic accounts across can liners, food films, and stretch film products.

    Stephenie’s passion for empowering women in the workplace led her to become actively involved with the ISSA Hygieia Network in 2020, following an invitation to share her leadership journey during an Inspire presentation. Since then, she has served on multiple committees, was a member of the Hygieia Council through 2024, and was honored as the ISSA Hygieia Member of the Year.

    Before entering the packaging industry, Stephenie built a successful career in collegiate athletics, coaching at Division I programs including the University of Notre Dame, Loyola University Chicago, and Michigan State University. A former collegiate All-American and standout athlete at Western Michigan University, she was inducted into the WMU Hall of Fame in 2011.

    Stephenie brings a unique blend of competitive drive, strategic insight, and a deep commitment to mentorship—qualities that continue to shape her leadership and advocacy for women in the cleaning industry.
