ISSA’s Cleaning Management Institute (CMI) Train the Trainer workshop is structured to certify cleaning professionals as Certified Professional Trainers, so they can successfully implement training for their cleaning operations. It is a great way to begin effective and high-quality training.
The virtual training utilizes the CMI Custodial Technician Basic and Advanced level certification courses as a foundation for the technical skills being implemented. Each day of Train the Trainer will include in-depth discussions and group activities. In addition, each participant will receive access to the online learning platform to study 2 modules, basic and advanced cleaning technical skills.
This course will provide you with an understanding of what tools are needed to be an effective trainer. Each module within the Certified Custodial Technician is drilled down in depth, with a strong focus on the implementation of a proper training program for your staff.
Learning objectives:
- Understand the benefits of implementing a professional Training Program
- Develop an understanding of the key concepts
- Understand the pros/cons of various teaching methods
- Gain hands-on experience using and demonstrating teaching methods
- Demonstrate an understanding of the course material for C.P.T. certification
WHAT you will learn:
- How to prepare and plan for training
- How to set up the space for training
- How to engage people and how to contrast disruption
- How adults learn and different learning styles
- How to self-evaluate and how to implement a high level training
- A final online exam will be taken after class has concluded, pass exam with 80%, to receive your Certified Professional Trainer (CPT) certification.
