The 2022 ISSA Cleaning and Hygiene Expo Education Program will be held on 14-15 September 2022 at the International Convention Centre in Sydney. The show is one of the first opportunities for people in the cleaning and hygiene sector in the Oceania and Asia-Pacific regions to come together again. Now, more than ever, it is important for businesses and professionals to remain agile and informed. The ISSA Cleaning and Hygiene Expo will provide the tools to help grow your business, develop staff and stay up to date with industry trends and the latest products and services.

The comprehensive education program features both expert panel discussions and in-depth workshops. Throughout the two days more than 40 industry leaders and senior executives will discuss the post-pandemic road to recovery and provide their insight and feedback on a range of key industry topics.

Sean is a member of ACIPC (Australasian College of Infection Control Professionals), has lead transformation programs implementing ISSA Professional Auditing Program at Winc Australia for their Health Hygiene & Safety Specialists and developed a site survey app for Aged Care to uncover and educate aged care homes and hospitals on improved infection prevention and manage risk. Sean is passionate about transformation and change within the Aged and Healthcare sector and improving the health and welfare of elderly residents and patients.

She specialises in taking the complexity out of sustainability, finding common ground between stakeholders and equipping people with the skills and capabilities to accelerate and mainstream sustainable change. Prior to consulting, Ash worked for a leading building products supplier, was on the board of Responsiblesteel and guest lectured at UNSW. Ashleigh is a published author and has a Master’s degree in Sustainable Built Environments.
James Wiltshire

James Wiltshire is currently the Technology & Sustainability Leader for Dow in Australia & New Zealand. He is responsible for driving innovation and collaboration with customers and partners across Dow’s portfolio of specialty chemicals and materials, leading programs in ANZ aligned to Dow’s 2025 sustainability goals and managing new business development opportunities. Prior to joining Dow in 2010, James was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne, where he worked on the development of synthetic polymer processing aids for the mining industry. James holds a PhD in Polymer Science from the University of Melbourne.

Jen Semple supports Accord’s communications, public affairs, innovation and sustainability initiatives. She is actively involved in Accord’s packaging work, including compiling data-based insights on industry’s packaging practices and involvement in industry-led initiatives to drive packaging sustainability improvements. Jen is a science communicator who unites experience as a research chemist with a passion for science education. Her qualifications include a PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of New England. Her work experience includes positions as a Research Associate at the University of NSW and a post-doctoral Research Officer with the University of Sydney. Prior to joining Accord, Jen commenced building her career as a science communicator through freelance writing for Sydney’s Powerhouse Museum.
John O’Donnell

John O’Donnell is an Industrial Chemistry professional with over 40 years’ experience in chemical, detergent, cosmetic and pharmaceutical manufacturing in Australia. He has worked mainly in Product Development and Quality Assurance. Having worked for over 10 years at Albright & Wilson he has in-depth understanding of the whole chemical supply chain process and the important role of packaging. John is a Past President of the Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists and served as a Councillor for over 20 years. He authored a position paper on the Packaging of Cosmetics and Toiletries in Australia. John has served on Technical Committees for the ASCC, Accord and the PMAA (now known as ASMI).

BVSc, MSc, MPH, CFO, CBFRS, MRCVS Certified Forensic Operator®️, Certified Bio-Forensic Restoration Specialist®️, Associate Professor, Penn State College of Medicine Dr. Gavin Macgregor-Skinner has more than 30 years of technical experience in responding to infectious disease outbreaks and emergency management. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences at Penn State College of Medicine and teaches three 15-week graduate courses on Public Health Preparedness for Disasters and Terrorist Emergencies. In 2014 he received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in teaching. He has appeared on CNN, Fox News, BBC, Canada CTV, Australia ABC, C-SPAN, and other news outlets to share his expertise on High Consequence Pathogens such as Coronavirus, Ebola, Influenza, Measles, Cholera, Zika and other global health threats. He served 12-years as an Officer in the Australian and British militaries and was an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer at the U.S. CDC in Atlanta, Georgia, and a Global Health Fellow with the United States Agency for International Development in Washington DC.
