Essity is a leading global hygiene and health company, operating in 150 countries with annual sales of more than $14.6 billion in 2022.

    Matt also sits on Essity Professional Hygiene Leadership Team and has led other businesses beyond Essity in North America, including Wausua Paper Corp.

    Gary Rubin
    Sales Manager, Imperial Dade

    Gary Rubin is a Sales Manager at Imperial Dade. After graduating from Philadelphia Textile in 1984 with his BS in Accounting, he went into a family business servicing the electronics industry. He loved sales but didn’t like the industry and in 1992 he left the business and started PCA Industrial & Paper Supplies. He loved the idea of selling a product that everyone needed. With an amazing team, he not only had fun, but they were successful. They had an excellent reputation in the industry and he took great pride in their accomplishments.

    The industry was beginning to consolidate. As a result, in 2018 he sold PCA to Imperial Dade a true leader in the industry. Throughout the years, Gary has given back to the community by serving on several boards, including: Abington PAL, Golden Slipper Club, Abramson Center, and JEVS. He currently serves as a Vice President of FHI, a provider of low-income housing for seniors, and he serves as Chairman of Deborah Heart and Lung Hospital’s Foundation.

    Maura Strohsacker is the Director of Corporate Partnership Activation for the Philadelphia Eagles. She has been with the Eagles organization for over 18 years and has played a key role in developing the team’s corporate partner marketing and client retention strategies. Maura attended Penn State University, where she studied communications and public relations.

    Elizabeth Hawver is the head of Essity’s Omnichannel Sales, Wholesale, and Office Distribution team, where she is responsible for strategic planning and commercial execution in these channels. In this role, she leads a seasoned team of sales and marketing professionals and is responsible for some of Essity’s most strategic distribution partners in the US and Canada. Prior to this role, Elizabeth held a variety of senior leadership roles in Finance, Global Strategy, Competitive Intelligence, and Pricing at Essity. Elizabeth graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a degree in Economics, and Certificates in Finance and Italian Language and Culture. She holds an MBA from Villanova University and has recently been recognized as a 40 Under Forty for Philadelphia and is last year’s ISSA Hygieia Network Rising Star. She currently resides in the Philadelphia Metropolitan area with her husband and two young children.
